There is something cool about hearing the "Maybach Music" drop sliced and stretched. The prevalence of such drops has gotten a bit out of control--Metro Boomin's remains one of the greatest--but those M-m-m-m-m-m-m-m-m's crack open this remix of Mac Miller and Rick Ross's "INSOMNIAK" efficiently. JayCeeOh and HIDEthenSEEK don't alter the verses too much, but infuse some high-throttle trap for big party peaks during the chorus. The song takes trap's drum pattern and structure, but there's welcomed hints of trance here and there.
