In 2011, Jacques Greene remixed The Weeknd's sexy, droopy eyed breakout "What You Need." The Montreal R&B-house beatsmith—who would go on to release music by the track's original producer, Zodiac, on his VASE label—has dug up the groggy, six-and-a-half minute edit and made it available to download for free. It's a throwback, for sure, but the fact that it's aged so nicely is a good indicator of how anticipatory of trends both artists were nearly four years ago.
