Lauryn Hill has quietly joined the fray of artists speaking out on Ferguson. Tonight on Twitter she shared a sketch of "Black Rage," a politically charged re-write of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "My Favorite Things" that she's been performing live for years, with a pointed dedication: "Strange, the course of things. Peace for MO." Recorded in her living room, her kids can be heard cooing in the background as she coolly sings a lullaby no mother should need in her repertoire: When the dogs bite, when the beatings, when I'm feeling sad, I simply remember these kinds of things and then I don't fear so bad! Listen to the stirring song and read the lyrics below.
