Five years following his passing, Michael Jackson (and his estate and myth managers) is still a pioneering force in music. Tonight Jackson's Stargate-contemporized "A Place With No Name," off his posthumous album XSCAPE, was premiered on "his" Twitter account and was simulcast in New York's Times Square. Directed by the great Samuel Bayer (Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Blind Melon's "No Rain," Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around… Comes Around," and more), the fuzzy video is comprised of outtakes and repurposed footage from Jackson's 1991 video for "In The Closet". Because it is embedded within the Tweet -- a first! -- you'll have to head over there to watch it.
UPDATE: You can now watch it below, too.
