Rappers aren't actors. Most of them, the smart ones, have no aspirations to being actors. But Fredo Santana's flexed his acting chops before, and "All I Ever Wanted" gives Fredo and Chi-raq cohort Lil Durk an opportunity to stretch their camera work, playing street level gangsters. Lil Durk's baby face and Fredo Santana tatted-up visual treatment are mildly comical as they stumble throughout a semi-lucid drug dealing plot. But it's Lil Durk's lightning fast verse and Fredo's slurred done-with-the-world hook that pull the viewer along this ride.
