Psymun's Pink Label EP was a drippy, experimental statement from the young St. Paul in-house producer for THESTANDARD. Traditional guitar and piano chords are whipped into ambient, electronic fluff throughout the ten-track project. "ok" is the centerpiece, a stumbling stretch of guitar strums and soft kickdrums with no real beginning or end, like sitting in the back of a tour bus trying to remember when the dates started. Spooky, Allan, Bobby & Psymun have been blending chillwave production, quirky raps and experimental R&B in a way that feels new and now. The visuals are a trip, too: the whole crew gets direction credit here, but we doubt it took four guys to come up with an ending like this.
