Drill forefather King Louie celebrated 4th July yesterday by dropping his first mixtape of 2014. After a big 2013 that included a guest spot on Yeezus and the December release of Drilluminati 2, Tony is the first we've heard from Louie as a solo artist this year. The tape keeps things simple, with cohesive, slow-burning production from Bobby Johnson, Jay Storm and BlockOnDaTrakk and a couple of guest verses from Chi Hoover and Slitta; bolts from the blue come in the form of the autotune warbles of "Michael Jackson Money" and the vintage bounce of "Ambitions As A Rider."
