Yesterday, we debuted a new mini-documentary about Johannesburg party-starter OkMalumKoolKat. Today we've got a second video from his installment of our Obey You Collective: South Africa series. This clip features the stylish emcee talking about his first-ever live performance before going a cappella for a few loose bars of a song by his rap supergroup, Boyzn Bucks. Additionally, we've got a free download of an unreleased OkMalumKoolKat track; "Internet Jetset Zuper" is actually one of the first beats the artist produced entirely himself. "I’ve made other beats, but this is the first beat I’ve let go of and given to the world," OkMalumKoolKat (real name: Smiso Zwane) said when we spoke over Skype earlier this month. "I work with a lot of producers all over the world but that’s the first time I had control over everything. I guess I’m a producer now." Grab the track and check out all of the Obey You Collective: South Africa video profiles, portraits and interviews right here.
