Sugar face, honey lips, candy eyes, sweet surprise, is the lilting, laughing refrain of this languid pop song from London producer Throwing Shade. Taken from her 19 Jewels EP due on No Pain In Pop (you know, the UK label responsible for getting Forest Swords and patten off the starting blocks) on May 19th, it's the kind of song that makes "shimmering" sound like the understatement of the year. The instrumentation is so rich, so alive, that it flows like water. Her name might be borrowed from the '80s NYC ballroom scene but Throwing Shade is all sunshine on "Sweet Tooth." No flossing necessary.
