"On Fire," the latest from Toronto rapper Redway, deserves credit alone for managing to make a Kings Of Leon sample not sound corny. If it seems like he's emerged from nowhere fully-formed and rapping his ass off (not to mention comparing himself to Drake), it's because he's been working in Toronto's underground rap scene since 2007. It's produced by Wondagurl, the 17-year-old mastermind behind Travi$ Scott's "Uptown" and Jay Z's "Crown"; she'll be producing the entirety of Redway's forthcoming Years Ahead project. In the meantime, listen to his 2013 tape, Live Free.
