This year's The FADER FORT Presented by Converse kicked off on a sun-drenched, slightly windblown weekday. Yesterday's performers included Lil Bibby, Bipolar Sunshine, Temples, HBK Gang, The Orwells, London Grammar, Little Dragon, and as usual, some big surprises. The always-lovable Big Freedia invited members of the audience on stage for a twerk-a-thon, angel-voiced SZA came out during Isaiah Rashad's performance to sing "Ronnie Drake" and Ty Dolla $ign crashed YG's set. Snoop Dogg showed up too —no big deal —running through a couple songs from his hit-heavy catalog, including mid-aughts banger "Drop It Like It's Hot." All day, Converse was screen printing custom, made-to-order T-shirts, guests hand painted bottles with the Glass Is Life crew, got stress-free shuttle rides from Mazda, and vitaminwater® kept our collective thirst quenched. Captain Morgan White and Budweiser hooked up the bar; there were even rum-spiked snow cones. Check out some photo highlights above, and remember that even if you're not in Texas this week, you can watch the Dell-powered live stream right here, right now, on theFADER.com.
