The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund is widely regarded as fashion's highest honor, with the winner taking home chairwoman Anna Wintour's coveted stamp of approval and $300,000 in funding and mentoring from industry legends. This year the nominees are even more special. Among them is Hood By Air, a brand we've been rooting for since 2007, who's up for the Swarovski Award for Menswear. It's the perfect endcap to designer Shayne Olivier's triumphant 2013, which saw Hood By Air making its runway debut and covering Style.com Magazine. Another important nominee is Beth Hardison, who has been bringing to light the industry's racial inequality through her Diversity Coalition. She received a nomination for The Founder's Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert. The 11th annual awards ceremony will be held at Alice Tully Hall on June 2nd.
