At the end of last year, CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith claiming 2014 as TDE's own, promising six new albums aka a "take over." Two and a half months and two albums -- Isaiah Rashad's Cilvia and ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron, which is projected to debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200 next week -- later, he's not backing down.

Speaking with Billboard, Tiffith again promised a whole host of TDE albums-- including a new one from Kendrick. He said the anticipated follow-up to 2012's good kid, m.A.A.d city will drop in September. TDE president Dave Free sweetened the deal, chiming in that we'll "likely" see that mythical Black Hippy -- Lamar, Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul -- album before year's end as well.

In 2014, TDE hopes to lock and load its most ambitious slate of releases: Rashad and the label’s first nonrap signing, New Jersey-based female singer-songwriter SZA, will be coming with albums, as will original team members Jay Rock and Ab-Soul. Meanwhile, Free thinks the long-awaited debut from Black Hippy – the supergroup featuring Lamar, Q, Rock and Ab-Soul – is likely to appear in 2014; Tiffith indicates that TDE is planning to release a new Lamar album this coming September, too.
