Like so many of us, Bruno Coviello formerly of Light Asylum spent January 16, as people have every year since her death, meditating on the day's notable significance as Aaliyah's birthday. But whereas most of us regular folk just listened to her music and got a little teary-eyed, Coviello channeled his energies into a nice little remix of "Rock the Boat," which somehow sounds wistful and celebratory all at once—a perfectly complicated and beautiful way to process our feelings for baby girl.
