Last year Chicago rapper/producer Tree set himself apart with Sunday School II: When Church Lets Out, a christening of sorts for his trademark amalgamation of soul samples and trap beats, soul trap. Today the wizened, gravel-voiced 29-year-old calls us back to service with The @McTree, a Scion AV-sponsored EP that further refines his unique sound. It runs only seven songs, including "Probably Nu It" and the buoyant "Like Woah", but “is seven songs of me at my most vulnerable yet strongest," he says. "I really made great music for the masses with this one.” Hit play below and let his warm-croak thaw this snowy night a bit.
