A woozy amalgam of static-y textures and curling strings forms the repetitious foundation of "Grey Over Blue," the first side of a previously unannounced Actress 12-inch that came out today via Werkdiscs/Ninja Tune. It's the first bit of new material we've heard from the UK producer since he announced his forthcoming, three-disc follow-up to 2012's R.I.P—due out January 28th, and being billed as the last Actress album that Darren Cunningham will ever release. Read his pretty ominous-sounding statement about the long-awaited Ghettoville here (hint: it ends with the words, "R.I.P Music 2014"), and check out our Gen F profile on the guy.
