From the magazine: ISSUE 89, December 2013/January 2014

In FADER's annual Now Issue, we get up close and personal with the artists setting the tone for the next year. We looked at record labels, producers, authors, video directors and many more. Here are four models to watch in 2014.

Age: 20 (“making me one year shy of being in Vegas”)
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
Style icon: Wiz Khalifa. He’s always on-point and dressed to impress. He’s also successfully established his own clothing line, which has dropped some dope pieces.
Favorite designers to work for: I really love a lot of new and upcoming designers, like Public School. Designers like that bring so much to the table with amazing collections, season after season.
Dream modeling job: A Victoria Secret Fragrance campaign, having all the VS Angels with me. ;)
Wardrobe essential for 2014: I like to grab attention with what I wear, so it changes everyday.

Age: 17
Hometown: Kauai, HI and Knoxville, TN
Style icon: Michele Lamy (Rick Owens’ wife) and Tyler, The Creator. They really don’t conform to society’s bullshit and they wear what they want.
Favorite designers to work for: So far, Marc Jacobs—he’s so sweet. As my very first show, it was definitely a sweet introduction into the industry.
Dream modeling job: It would be fun to do a Supreme campaign with Terry Richardson and Odd Future.
Wardrobe essential for 2014: Good earrings, coats and white tees. That’s all I got.

Boyfriends Carlos Santolalla and John Tuite

Age: carlos 24, john 21
Hometown: CARLOS: Bay Area, CA. JOHN: St. Petersburg, FL
Style icon: CARLOS: Eminem, Diddy, Fred Durst. Anyone who can pull a monochromatic look. The early 2000s are still dictating a big part of my life. JOHN: My favorite movie heartthrobs from movies like Flesh, Mysterious Skin and My Own Private Idaho. Timeless trash is my default look.
Favorite designers to work for: CARLOS: One of the most fun shows I did was Rochambeau in NYC. Their clothes made sense to me, and at the end of the show, they made us squirt champagne over everyone, including the clothes. A very early-2000s-on-a-yacht music video moment. JOHN: Dean and Dan at DSQUARED2 are a lot of fun, and they liked it when I showed up with my nails painted black.
Dream modeling job: CARLOS: I think Hedi Slimane’s Dior Homme would have been cool. My own T-shirt on a billboard! JOHN: Being a prop for an iconic celebrity, or maybe art directing an editorial of my own selfies.
Wardrobe essential for 2014: CARLOS: A sweater that matches in exact color and pattern with a pair of shorts—the backup dancer look. JOHN: Gold chain or gold tooth.
