Vic Mensa is in New York for Scion’s monthly free concert series, Open Mic, with Ty Dolla $ign and Deniro Farrar. Earlier this week, he stopped by FADER offices for a lunchtime hang out. The contents of his bag made a pretty perfect picture of the artist as a young hooligan: a fake Wisconsin ID, turnstile-jumping citation, prescription pills, stomped-on phone, dog-chewed wallet and throat coat tea.
