FADER PREMIERE
Neneh Cherry's daughter, also, is apparently quite good. The London duo PANES, making their debut today, is the product of her—Tyson McVey—and producer Shaun Savage, whose studio/collective Flesh & Bone has also recently worked with Arthur Beatrice and Factory Floor. "Choice Errors," their first song, has a beat that grumbles and rings with synths approximating traditional Japanese strings, McVey's voice sounding extra-comfortable as it floats overtop and folds in and through. It's a very chill start.
