NOT YOUR AVERAGE JACK 'O LANTERNS
This Halloween, impress your neighbors with a hand-carved portrait pumpkin, using these FADER-approved stencils to render Miley's tongue, Future's grin or the spawn of Kanye and Kim's adorable eyes. With help from Shea Serrano, the illustrator behind Bun B's Rap Coloring Book and verycoolpumpkins.tumblr.com, we put together carving templates for your next arts and crafts sesh. Follow the directions below—it's easy, we promise—and be sure to tweet your finished products @TheFADER so we can share the best ones.
Directions:
1. Print out your favorite stencil.
2. Cut out the white parts.
3. Place the paper on the pumpkin and, using a Sharpie, trace the stencil.
4. Carve your pumpkin along the lines.
5. Place a candle inside for maximum effect.
