M.I.A.’s been teasing a collaboration with Versace for so long now that we had practically given up that it would ever even be a real thing, but today comes official word and photographic proof that the singer has teamed up with rap's favorite brand for a capsule collection of 19 pieces for men and women. Who knows how M.I.A. convinced Donatella to let her base the clothes off of counterfeits, considering that luxury brands like Versace treat the production of fakes around the world as a very serious threat to their business, but she has. Clothes will be for sale online on October 16, just a few weeks before her upcoming album Matangi drops on November 5. (via The Telegraph)
