FADER NYFW, Spring 2014
Sure, it’s great to look at clothes on the runway, but the true fun and hard work of New York Fashion Week goes on backstage, with designers, stylists, models and makeup artists running around to make everything on the stage seem effortless and easy. Nigeria-based designer Amaka Osakwe, with her line Maki Oh, presented a graceful collection that brought together football jerseys and fluffy chiffon. Backstage, we captured models receiving spray-on neck tans and polka-dot manicures, with hair by Free Your Mane and makeup by TEMPTU.
