The rumors about Converse teaming up with avant-garde design house Maison Martin Margiela have had sneaker freaks drooling all summer, and today, they've finally announced the collection. For the collaboration, the Chuck Taylor All Star and the Jack Purcell sneakers have been hand-painted in Maison Martin Margiela’s iconic white paint—the canvas, eyelets, laces and soles—with the paint promising to chip and crack so that with time you'll see the OG shoe underneath. This will hit stores in September at a retail price of $200.
