Six-deep Queens crew World's Fair have signed to Fool's Gold, who'll release their debut LP, Bastards of the Party, on September 3rd. To celebrate, the guys dance with the Fool's Gold gold bar in a new video for "96 Knicks," which appeared on New York Renaissance, an April compilation tape put together by Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg, and will be the album's first official single. Directed by Shomi Patwary, the video riffs on TMZ and stages a mock, ESPN-style post-game press conference, featuring faux-news ticker gems like "Tremendous amount of marijuana found on Remy Banks by investigators" and "Nasty Nigel reported to have shaven his beard last Sunday, barbers said." The party continues with two NYC shows this week; dates below.
