Henry Steinway, the 22-year-old producer better known as RL Grime, is good at making beats that are weird and massive-sounding at the same time. "Secondary," which features rising LA rapper Problem, is about as mood-altering as the bag of mollies Problem mentions mid-verse, his Auto-Tuned delivery sounding comfortably slick on top of a wobbly, tripped-out soundscape. The song appears on RL Grime's new High Beams EP, out July 16th via Fool's Gold. Listen to "Secondary" below and stream snippets from the rest of the EP's tracks, which on first listen sound unsurprisingly wavy.
