Last month MØ released a disorienting, homespun, black-and-white video collage to accompany her new single "Waste of Time." Now we have a crisp official clip for the track, in which shots of the young Danish singer dancing urgently, snapping her fingers and looking explicitly solemn are interspersed with close-ups of snake heads and expressionist paintings. Dressed plainly in a white knit sweater, MØ grips a chainsaw and stares dead-eyed into the camera while her long ponytail swings about wildly. It's a striking, adequately enigmatic image for a pop song that's simultaneously confrontational and escapist. "Waste of Time" comes out July 7th via Chess Club / RCA.
