Designer Hedi Slimane has been rounding up singers to model in various campaigns for his recently relaunched and renamed Saint Laurent Paris (Christopher Owens, Liza Thorn of Starred, Sky Ferreira, Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love and Daft Punk have already taken their turn), and now Zachary Cole Smith of DIIV is the latest to lend his pretty face to the brand. Slimane's fall collection for the label formerly called Yves Saint Laurent pulled heavily from grunge and the early '90s (grunge goddess Courtney Love even tweeted that "finally someone got the actual look exact") with its baby doll dresses and oversized cardigans, so Cole Smith's Cobain-y bob and painted nails fits in perfectly. So does the sound of his band: to launch the photos, he's scored the digital campaign with a song over on YSL's site.
