On his tackily titled but compelling Drums Slums & Hums mixtape, Buraka Som Sistema producer Branko (formerly J-Wow) loosens the self-imposed kuduro and funk carioca restrictions that have defined his group and stretches the sound across even more borders, creating a sort of Mad Decent-like international party music for bikinied globetrotters. Branko made the beats and enlisted verses from London's Roses Gabor, New Yorkers Zebra Katz and Njena Reddd Foxxx, Johannesburg's Okmalumkoolkat and Tampa's Dominque Young Unique.
