Butchy Fuego aka San Gabriel's dark, cave-rave track "Gore Text," a standout from last year's Volfe LP, now has the most appropriate visual counterpart. Shot by Tony Lowe in upstate New York and at Ashland Mines aka Total Freedom's Blasting Voice installation, the video stars a dude wearing a sniper's suit made of colorful fabric pieces and climbing rope. A survivalist in the grand outdoors, the sniper ties knots and dances around in a light-blasted and dank cavern, thus combining two of San Gabriel's favorite things: raving and camping.
