Problem, the should-be national star from LA, has released a glossy, cameo-studded video for "Like Whaaat," a single that's currently in rotation on LA's Power 106 and a number of southern stations across rural Texas, Georgia and North Carolina. Like recent tracks by King L and Kool John, "Like Whaaat" is built from the lovable haaaaas and whhaaaaats of No Limit rapper Young Bleed's 1997 soundtrack cut "How You Do Dat." Hear those songs below. It's hard to say with certainty who started this fun "How You Do Dat" revival, but I'd peg HBK Gang, the crew from Master P's native Richmond, CA fronted by GEN F artist Iamsu!, whose recent tape with Problem is excellent. Here's hoping their influence grows wider.
