Snoop Lion is joined by his daughter Cori B and Drake for "No Guns Allowed," a call for peaceful partying taken from his upcoming reggae album, Reincarnated, out April 23rd and up for preorder now. "I had guns in my life and I ran into the situation with the law where they came through my house and put my family though a whole lot of unnecessary abuse," Snoop explained in a recent interview with Piers Morgan. "I felt like I had got to the point in my career and my life where I didn't need guns," he said. "I felt like I was positive and peaceful...We are guilty as Americans of promoting the gun as one of the most highly-touted things that you can have in your life." Major Lazer, Ariel Rechtshaid and Dre Skull produced the song; Angela Hunte, who worked as a songwriter on the Snoop Lion album, also provides backing vocals.
