Julian Lynch is great at making complex music seem warm and inviting. With "Gloves," the latest single from his upcoming album Lines (out March 26th on Underwater Peoples), he layers woozy, country funk bass on top of choppily woven guitar and smooth horns. It sounds like a barn party being played by a crew of brilliant musicians who decided they wanted to let their (collective) hair down and get a little wild.
