From the sounds of this song medley, Dublin electronic duo Solar Bears went for something big and dramatic with their upcoming Supermigration LP. As with their 2010 debut, John Kowalski and Rian Trench keep things grounded in a krauty, repetitious sound palette, but there's something about the higher production values and romantic turns of melody that make this feel like music for the screen. Which is why it's no surprise that Solar Bears took their name from Andrei Tarkovsky's Solaris, and that they had director Michael Robinson produce a similarly hallucinatory short film for the collection. Grab the album on April 13th via Planet Mu.
