The Best Of Pitti Uomo’s Menswear Fall/Winter 2013 Collections

January 14, 2013

Twice a year, the streets of Florence, Italy are flooded with editors, bloggers and the international style cognescenti to view the menswear collections at Pitti Uomo. This massive tradeshow, which boasts a staggering bill of over a thousand exhibitors, is known for brands that bring a fresh eye to menswear classics and the sophisticated audience it draws. In its 83rd edition, Pitti Uomo saw some pretty exciting collections for the Fall/Winter 2013, here is a roundup of the best and brightest.

Kenzo
In their second fall/winter collection under the creative direction of Opening Ceremony's Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Kenzo made a memorable appearance with bold colors, striking prints and the occasional shiny metallic fabrics.

Woolrich John Rich & Bros.
Between the thick coats and the dark, warm colors of their F/W 2013 collection, Woolrich John Rich & Bros. showed luxe outerwear options that refined the once clunky puffer jacket.

White Mountaineering
The folks over at White Mountaineering showed a true eye for tasteful palettes. Each look presented an almost painterly mesh of colors that seamlessly brought together clashing patterns and textures.

Andrea Pompilio
After winning Pitti Uomo's Who Is On Next competition in 2011, Italian designer Andrea Pompilio returned to Florence with heavily discussed men's collections. The mix of patterns in his collection brought together with the perfect shade of dark denim and exciting pops of bright yellow.
