Chromatics' "Looking For Love" comes from After Dark 2 (though the version on that album is 17 minutes long), the upcoming sequel to the seminal Italians Do It Better compilation that revitalized interest in italo disco, and introduced the label's more esoteric take on the sound to a whole audience. It's skews more minimal and robotic than much of the music from Chromatics' recent album Kill For Love, sounding not so far off from a whispered take on intimate bedroom dance music. That's always been at the heart of Chromatics' sound, though—that ability to make dancefloor ready songs that sound breathy and lonely at the same time.
