Over two years ago, the dark British producer Becoming Real remixed his fellow Londoner Seams’ "Nightcycles"—which you can still download here—and now at last the tables turn, with Seams expertly taking on Becoming Real's "Slow Memory." For the first three-and-a-half minutes, his remix is spare, emphasizing a familiar Asian riff before turning on all the drum layers and dancing one final victory lap. The original "Slow Memory" featured on Becoming Real's Solar Dreams/Neon Decay EP, then was re-recorded with vocals by Alice Davies, of Sunless '97; a video of that new version is below Seams' remix. The single comes out September 17th via Not Even.
