To mark their official signing to 4AD, Indians, the Copenhagen-based project of Søren Løkke Juul, has made an epic 3-track video filmed over the course of a single day on Osea Island, a little-known, privately owned island in the estuary of the Blackwater in Essex. The idea was to capture the idiosyncrasies of performing by a body of water at three different times during the day. The result is brackish—sweet with a little rough-edged salt—a good taste for Indian's debut release, which will be out early next year.
