With “76,” Roc Marciano has reemerged, yet again, to remind us that since his early days with Busta Rhymes' Flipmode Squad, he has been one of the most consistent MC/producers around. Over brushes of piano and what must be a sample from an early-2000s Playstation RPG, Roc comes at you with composed bravado, talking coolly about his spot at the top. After a brief mid-song intermission, Roc confidently spouts, all of my enemies are dead and buried. No surprise that he has outlasted them all.
