Michael Chapman, the 71-year-old British guitarist and singer/songwriter, released four seminal folk albums on Harvest in the late-’60s and early-’70s, and has kept up making raw, experimental guitar music ever since. Light in the Attic reissued a few albums last year, and Tompkins Square recently released a great compilation of covers by admirers and past collaborators entitled Oh Michael, Look What You've Done. We were lucky to catch him by the bar at Union Pool, playing a grumbling rendition of "It Ain't So," first released in 1995.
