19-year-old Lil Reese, a Chicago rapper who grew up with Chief Keef and was featured on his biggest song, recently signed to Def Jam Records. His debut mixtape, hosted by reunited mixtape DJs Don Cannon and DJ Drama, is a concise, ten-track slab of ominous Chicago street rap. From the rolling organs of the Young Chop-produced lead single "Us" to the regally anthemic "Beef," Don't Like should establish Reese as one of hip-hop's rising stars. Reese even manages to rope in Dipset's Hell Rell for a standout guest verse.
