Pittsburg, CA street rapper A-Wax was once affiliated with Akon's Konvict Music; of late he's joined with Brick Squad, backing Waka Flocka on some dates of Drake's Club Paradise tour, as documented in the loveable preview video for his track "Yeah Right." A-Wax's new album, Everybody Loves Me: Chapter 1 drops July 17th. It will include this remix of "Fly Pelican," which has a strong East Coast feel, thanks to minor key production and a gritty Styles P guest verse.
