VICE Records has announced they'll partner with Brooklyn label Mixpak to re-release Vybz Kartel’s summer 2011 album, Kingston Story, produced entirely by Mixpak owner Dre Skull. The deluxe edition, up for preorder now, will be available on vinyl and CD August 14th. Though several Kartel tracks—"Back to Life" and "Wine and Go Down" with Busta Rhymes—have emerged since he was charged with two murders and incarcerated last October, a statement from his label Adidjaheim Records says Kartel, still in police custody, has not recorded any new material since his arrest.
