Thee Oh Sees Step Into The Black in San Francisco

San Francisco garage psych veterans Thee Oh Sees brought the ruckus at last night's installment of the Step Into The Black series presented by Captain Morgan and FADER. The crowd of young Cali punks at the converted warehouse space known as Public Works was a far cry from the fancy buttoned-down guests at last week's show in Chicago. DJ Tone got things started while guests munched on sliders and chicken skewers or posed for pictures at the upstairs photo booth, which were projected onto a giant wall near the stage. There was plenty of moshing and crowd surfing during Thee Oh Sees' high energy performance. The more faint of heart checked out the shenanigans from the balcony and everyone dug the Captain Morgan Black Spiced Rum cocktails. When the band finished shredding, most people grabbed dessert and a gift bag and took off, but a few die-hards stuck around to dance. The rad times are far from over! We have a bunch of cities to hit up in the coming weeks. Sign up for the FADER mailing list to find out more.
