They are! Even though Tevas were kind of the Uggs of the 1990s, scorned but comfortable, we think of them as a more appropriate, more shoe-y version of a flip flop. They're sandals you can hike in! That's awesome! Dads generally loved Tevas back in the day, especially paired with socks and cargo shorts on family vacations, but the new versions, made in collaboration with hip Japanese brand Head Porter and outfitted with polka dot straps, take the crunchy granola vibe to trendier, brighter places. They're not for sale anywhere yet, but they should be by summer, which will give you enough to time to debate whether or not you're ready to take the Tevas plunge. Just know that you'll have our full support.
