It's not like we were sitting around hoping for the day that Bobby Womack would do an entire album produced by Richard Russell and Damon Albarn, but now that it's a thing that exists, we're actually pretty stoked. "Please Forgive My Heart" is the first offering—prominently featuring Womack's weathered voice over somewhat glum but bouncy squelches and intimate piano. The Bravest Man in the Universe is out June 12th on XL.
