LA experimental duo Lucky Dragons, a performance-centric collaboration between Luke Fischbeck and Sarah Rara, released their twenty-somethingth album, Existers, last month, produced in collaboration with Swill Children’s Jesse Hlebo. One time Fishbeck did this crazy thing in the FADER conference room using grin-inducing hand-holding and rocks he found in Madison Square Park. This week, Existers was the recipient of two music videos: "Real Fire," by Travess Smalley, shown above, and "Mirror Makers," by Miko Revereza, found below. Both videos share an affinity for impossibly combined colors, matching the record's hard-to-pinpoint electronic sound: the first, showcasing an indescribable fire-thing, and the latter, playing out like a decaying VHS from high school biology. Existers is out now via Swill Children.
Starting March 22nd, Lucky Dragons'—and Beck's, James Murphy's and Devendra Banhart's—cover of Billie Holiday's "I Only Have Eyes for You" will soundtrack a projection on Washington DC's Hirshhorn Museum, courtesy of the artist Doug Aitken.
