Throughout Guerilla, Don Trip sounds emotionally comfortable, running through stories with concise force and lots of room in his voice. On "Pussy" he stretches his vowels long, successfully mimicking 2 Chainz' delivery and comedic timing. On the outro he raps for almost five minutes over a flip of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain." Trip's gained a following both unexpected and deserved, and as his name spreads wider, it's nice to hear him on such a well-selected collection of beats—Cool & Dre's "Allen Iverson" and Drumma Boy's "Like Me" are standouts—energized but as full of heart as ever.
