"Impala," from ForteBowie's slept on 2011 album Something About #Bowie, can be downloaded at his website for free. The entire LP was an inspired blend of hip-hop and R&B that seemed to appreciate certain nuances of each genre that many other artists tend to gloss over when doing their own genre combinations. On "Impala," which has just received a picturesque video treatment, he harnesses the ubiquitous hook to 2 Chainz' "Spend It" and marries it to a climactic chorus of spiritual devotion worthy of Maxwell.
