In the video for Chromatics’ "Into the Black," we see two things: grainy, washed out shots of singer Ruth Radelet's lips, and even grainier close-ups of a guitar being strummed. It's slow-moving, simple and haunting, just like Chromatics' take on Neil Young’s "Into the Black," the second Alberto Rossini-directed video the Portland act has released from Kill For Love, slated to come out any day now on Italians Do It Better. It's the long awaited follow up of 2007's Night Drive, which featured a similarly stripped down cover of Kate Bush’s "Running Up That Hill."
