LEP Bogus Boys’ Now or Neva, released last Halloween, was a dense and dark look at street rap, with some of the better writing the Chicago duo has yet released. It reached for the visceral, largely eschewing the pop sensibilities LEP had become known for nationally. At the heart of the record were tightly-wound, aggressive tracks like "Streetz Talkin'" and "Johnny Cochran," which appear together here as a mini-movie directed by Jonah Schwartz.
